Frequently asked questions
How is this different from covering the watermark?
We don’t paint over anything. The watermark is removed from the PDF’s object graph, so the pixels underneath aren’t touched and your document stays fully selectable and searchable.
Which watermarks can be removed?
Text stamps, image/logo overlays, optional-content layers (OCG) and vector watermarks — including ones tiled or repeated across pages. If a watermark is baked into a scanned/flattened page image, it can’t be removed structurally and we’ll tell you.
Will it damage my document?
No. Removal is limited to the objects you select, and the output is verified before download. Body text and page count are preserved.
Is my file kept private?
Files are processed on our servers and deleted automatically after the retention window. You can also delete the result immediately from the download screen.
Do I need to install anything?
